ESL Teacher Life Long (1)

ESL Classroom

Are you looking for some ideas for organizing your ESL classroom? Here are 5 tips to help you keep all of the papers and materials ready for teaching.

1. How can I organize compliance tasks in my ESL Classroom?

As an ESL specialist, there are papers related to testing, compliance tasks, and reports that need a safe place. This filing system makes sure I do not lose any important papers in a pile. I keep the most important ones on the counter to be sure I can find them easily. (Amazon affiliate links included in this post.)

2. How can I organize student work?

You might have many groups come through your ESL classroom on any given day. Giving students ownership of their work, keeping student papers from getting lost, and making sure you can go quickly from one group to another is easier when everyone has their own folder that stays in the classroom in a dedicated space.

3. How can I organize all my papers?

Sometimes, you just need a place to put a few things before you get a chance to file or use them. If you prefer-get two organizers and label them by days of the week or by grade level or group.

4. How can I organize family communication?

Check out my freebie planning sheet to help you plan and organize your communication with families. Click on the picture above or use the link below.

5. How can I organize all of the little things?

Don’t let the little things get you down! Use a toolbox or drawer dividers to keep things ready to use.

But where can I find these things for my ESL Classroom?

The easiest place to find all of my teacher favorites (affiliate links) is my Amazon storefront.

Three drawer organizer labels are available on Teacher Pay Teachers.

Free parent communication binder cover and communication is a freebie found there too.

Heavy duty storage bins in green, orange and many other colors are from Lakeshore Learning.
